El Re\u00f3metro genera una gr\u00e1fica de \u00abtorque vs. Tiempo\u00bb que es caracter\u00edstica del compuesto de caucho.<br \/><br \/>Esta gr\u00e1fica se obtiene colocando una muestra del compuesto en una prensa calefaccionada dentro de la cual existe un rotor oscilante que es mantenido en movimiento invariable, tanto en \u00e1ngulo como en velocidad, por un motor durante el proceso de vulcanizaci\u00f3n de la muestra. A medida que va progresando la vulcanizaci\u00f3n se hace mayor el torque necesario para mantener oscilando el rotor. Este equipo funciona estirando una probeta de goma de dimensiones estandarizadas y genera una gr\u00e1fica de fuerza versus estiramiento. El resultado del ensayo se expresa en mm c\u00fabicos de material de la probeta perdido por abrasi\u00f3n.
